The whole trip was great and we really liked it. The boat ride was interesting, we also saw different types of birds, we really liked the flamingoes. The islands were beautiful, the beaches were really nice. Nico was also a good guide. We would definitely recomend the trip to everyone!

Beautiful islands and scenery. We saw flamingo 's. Comfortable catamaran boot. Sun was shining, however the wind in cold in Februari. The captain borrowed me his jacket. I recommend this tour.

Magnifique balade hyper bien organisée, timing parfait. Nico notre "capitaine" et 'guide' était sympathique et très intéressant. Nombreux commentaires instructifs sur la faune et la flore. A very nice team, a big thank-you to Nicos ans Sandra, my daughter Juliette fell on the desert island, we had to come back, it was with great kindness that the team offered us to come back the next day to finish the ride. this tour is a must when you visit Faro, Nicos takes the time to explain and show the birds, the nature of the site. we will keep a very good memory of this trip, Thanks to this team Fabien M

It was a great experience, very individual approach, super comfortable boat. Our captain Ricardo was very knowledgeable, spotted and showed us many birds on the way, we saw flamingos too! Beautiful islands, just enough time to explore a bit each of them, definitely worth doing when staying in Faro. If you’re wondering if it’s alright for solo travelers I can say yes :)

This has been the highlight of our holiday. Sandra was so kind and accommodative and suggested us great options considering were with kids and the weather for the last few day wasn't great.She kindly msged and arranged for a tour the day it was meant to be sunny. Ricardo our tour guide was an amazing man.Great guy very polite and gave us great insights to the islands. He also gave the kids aenough time to enjoy the beaches. The boat was immaculately clean and the ride was smooth. A highlight of our holiday. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely experience on the boat tour. The tour guide, Ricardo was very friendly and professional, he accommodated everyone on the boat. The boat was very comfy and the ride was smooth. The tour was very well planned and we really enjoyed each stop off. We went in December which meant it was very quiet at each stop off. But would still highly recommend going as we still got to enjoy a bit of sun.

José était un excellent guide, attentif à nos besoins, pleins d'humour, beaucoup d'informations intéressantes durant la visite mais pas trop technique, visite des villages de pêcheurs et repas dans un des villages. Entreprise à taille humaine, nous n'étions que 10 dans le bateau mais ça peut aller jusqu'à 14. On comprend pleins de choses sur les marées, la pêche, les différentes cultures (palourdes, huîtres), la vie dans les villages, les coutumes locales, les différentes espèces d'oiseaux (jumelles fournis, etc... ) Bref une virée de 5 heures que l'on n'a pas vu passer C'était vraiment chouette, nous le recommandons vraiment.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment sur le bateau avec Nico notre guide qui parle parfaitement bien le français et l’anglais et dont les commentaires étaient très intéressants. En plus il est sympa avec beaucoup d’humour. Très bon moment aussi sur l’île déserte et l’ile de Farol (environ 1 heure sur chacune). Le seul petit bémol : nous nous attendions à voir des flamands roses comme indiqué sur le descriptif et apparemment il n’y en a pas dans cette partie de la réserve.

Super fijne boot en de gids weet super veel van het gebied. Hij stopte bij bijzondere vogels en gaf in verschillende talen uitleg over wat er te zien was. Echt een leuk ervaring en zeker een aanrader wanneer je in Faro bent! Communicatie was ook super, we kregen een appje met uitleg waar we op konden stappen op de boot en hoe we onze gids konden herkennen.

Wir haben den Trip am 26.10.2021 unternommen und waren begeistert! Alles wie beschrieben, von daher keine unangenehmen Überraschungen. Zuerst ging es durch den ria formosa Nationalpark und dann noch aufs offene Meer hinaus. Anschließend hatten wir 45-50 Minuten auf Desert island. Diese Insel hatten wir exklusiv nur für die Gruppe ;-). Anschließend ging es auf die Insel des Leuchtturmes, den Namen habe ich vergessen. Hier hatten wir mehr Zeit. Die Insel ist auch sehr schön gewesen! Ein bisschen herumstrandeln und dann in einer beach bar relaxen. Anschließend ging es wieder nach faro. Unser guide Nico hat viel erklärt und war super nett und bemüht. Der katamaran ist im übrigen sehr gemütlich 😉. Wir können den kurztripp auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Très belle balade sur les îles de ria Formosa, équipe très sympathique, bateau comfortable, notre guide parlait un français parfait. La veille j’ai reçu un message pour me proposer un parking, c’est assez rare pour être remarqué.merci à vous nous reviendrons.

Excellent boat tour around the islands, the best way to experience Ria Formosa. Nico was a great skipper, he was fluent in Portuguese, English and French. The time in the islands was just right to explore around and have the full experience. Amazing bird watching and a beautiful sunset. Karla was very helpful and accommodating, she communicated with us and gave us all the information that we needed, including parking. They are an awesome crew and we highly recommend this tour.

Loved the boat - very comfortable and the tour guide excellent. The beach bar was enjoyable with great snacks. The trip was excellent value for money and next time, I would consider renting privately for the day for the family.

Visite très agréable. Le guide parlait plusieurs langues dont le français. Il nous expliquait l'histoire du parc naturel, nous montrait la faune et la flore, nous donnait des indications sur la marée et la navigation. Le parc vaut le coup et l'équipe est très professionnelle !

I booked the Tour online a day before and got after confirmation all Information i needed in advance via WhatsApp. We spent 1 hour at Ilha Deserta, and 1.5 hour at Ilha do Farol. That Was enough time to swim, walk at the beach and eat Lunch. Everything was total relaxed and well organized. The guide on the boat was very polite, friendly and able to explain what we see in 4 different languages! Highly recommend the boat Trip. It was worth every Euro!!

What a great day! Our guide, Nico, was friendly and knowledgable and fluently spoke several languages to accommodate everyone on board. The boat was comfortable and clean, everyone was required to wear a mask, and there was plenty of space in between each group of passengers. We really appreciated the attentiveness to Covid precautions. Enjoyed the boat ride and had a fantastic lunch on the beach at Ilha do Farol. Highly recommend!

Great way to see and visit the Islands if you’re short on time in the region. Guide was extremely knowledgeable of the area including bird species. Guide was very welcoming and friendly.

El viaje es muy agradable y muy bien explicado. Lo repetiría. Llevad protector solar y bañador, por si tenéis un tiempo para un bañito

Même si le prix peut vous paraître un peu excessif au premier (c'était le cas pour moi 😏) cette excursion en bateau est un incontournable. Départ à 11h pour une ballade dans la lagune avec 1 guide au top qui parle français/anglais/espagnol et qui s'adapte en fonction des nationalités des passagers, qui vas vous expliquer toute la nature de cette magnifique lagune. Puis en route pour l'île déserte, avec au passage un arrêt sur le point le plus au sud du Portugal. Puis débarquement sur l'île déserte directement sur la plage pour un tour de 45mn (sans le guide) et puis direction l'île de Farol pour y déjeuner, s'y promener se baigner pour une durée d'1h30. C'est vraiment top et je vous recommande cette excursion 😉

We had a great tour that came with lots of variety: Bird watching (with excellent explanations about the natural park and its animals), beaches and bars as well as nice village.

It was really nice, the tour guide was also really friendly and did his best to explain all the points on the way, always ready to answer questions and friendly. Most certainly a must do to see the two beauties in Faro. You will have 2.5 hours for the islands (beach) and 1 hour exploring the natural park

Well organized tour through the Ria Formosa with stops on two islands. I got one day in advance meeting point information via WhatsApp, so no problem to find the departure point. Our tour guide was Ricardo who explained us a lot about Rua Formosa.

My and my partner went on this tour as part as of of anniversary. Its has to be one of the highlights of our trip. The tour guide was brilliant and the places he took us was beautiful. Highly recommen if in faro.

Dans un français parfait, il nous explique au long de la croisière l'histoire et la faune du parc naturel de Rio Formosa. La balade entre les îles est régulièrement ponctuée d'arrêts sur les différentes îles. N'oubliez pas votre maillot pour profiter des différentes plages. Toute la famille en a profité, un très chouette moment !

An amazing day with our guide, Ricardo. The boat was comfortable the islands were beautiful and we had a great lunch (sardines of course) in Farol. Our guide was really attentive and knowledgeable and, even though we were a group of 8, he made it feel like a private tour for the two of us. He speaks great English, French and Portuguese (and maybe a few more languages that we don't know about ;-). This would be an even more fantastic trip when all the migratory birds have returned!

Nuestro paseo fue muy agradable. Se cumplieron los horarios y las expectativas. Tanto Sandra que desde un principio se mostró muy amable y dispuesta a ayudarnos, como Ricardo, nuestro guía, hicieron de la experiencia algo inolvidable. En todo momento nos dieron las explicaciones en español y se mostraron muy cercanos. Recomendable 100%.

Una bella gita con Nico, il nostro skipper simpatico e professionale! Prima di raggiungere le isole ci ha aiutato ad individuare alcune specie di uccelli (come l’airone cenerino) che vivono nella laguna e successivamente abbiamo fatto due stop: uno nella Ilha Deserta (bella la spiaggia che da’ sull’oceano, c’era gente ma è così lunga che non è assolutamente affollata) e uno nella Ilha do Farol, dove abbiamo anche fatto pranzo. Una giornata rilassante nella bellezza naturale di Ria Formosa. Ottima organizzazione!

This was really an enjoyable experience, we took the tour of 3,5 hours to visit the islands in the Ria Formosa. I was worried it would be too long for the kids but no reason to worry at all, it was an adventure they really enjoyed. The boat is comfortable and spacious, great engaged captain and beautiful stops to jump in the blue ocean. Could recommend with children as well.

My husband and I went on the boat cruise from Faro and had a really great experience. Nico, the guide, was really nice and told us about the beautiful landscape and the flora and fauna to be found there. The islands and beaches were beautiful! Highly recommended!

This was an excellent tour of the Rio Formosa natural park - Very enjoyable and educational! Our guide Ricardo was very helpful and pointed out the birds and wildlife and explained how the area is made up. We also visited the beautiful Islands and could swim in the sea off pristine beaches and have lunch on the beach near the Farol lighthouse. You also visit the salt lakes near Faro airport - its fascinating to learn how they operate. This trip was excellent value- I would highly recommend it as a great way to appreciate the area that you cant see any other way. Very well organized and safe. Excellent organization and communication with us with handy advice as to where to park etc. I would definitely go on another trip with them when I am back in Faro.

Beautiful sunset boat tour! We had so much fun playing music and exploring the desert island. Our boat ended up being a pontoon boat, not a catamaran. We would recommend bringing some drinks and a good playlist for the trip.

Super Trip! Wir sind zuvor noch zu den Salzflächen gefahren. Die Guides haben sich alle Zeit genommen und viel erzählt! Die Tour ging letztendlich sogar 4 Stunden. Also von Zeitdruck keine Spur, was ich persönlich schonmal immer sehr angenehm finde! Es ist also definitiv empfehlenswert!

Experiência romântica divinal! Foi a Sandra que me contactou no início do dia para acertar todos os pormenores para a viagem. O Nico foi o nosso guia que fez um trabalho espectacular que para além de ser o guia ainda foi o nosso fotógrafo! Ainda conhecemos o Ricardo. O passeio foi lindíssimo e ficamos a conhecer muito mais sobre a Ria Formosa e curiosidades sobre a navegação náutica acompanhados por uma garrafa de espumante. Como este pessoal não há igual! São todos extremamente atenciosos e com uma simpatia enorme! Um muito obrigado a esta equipa por proporcionar um grande momento para nós! A repetir!

Excursion à la découverte de deux îles , la première déserte et la seconde l’île du phare... L’île déserte est paisible , nature ++ L’île du phare peu fréquentée à cette période est très agréable, à découvrir aussi avec une jolie plage avec bar et terrasse appréciables L’excursion est à bord d’un bateau très confortable. Le gros + est le guide francophone d’une immense gentillesse Je recommande ++

Great trip Really enjoyed our afternoon on the boat visiting the nature reserve and the two deserted islands Ricardo was an excellent guide taking the time to point out all the wildlife around at the time (flamingos et cetera). The deserted island was interesting but we enjoyed the Caribbean style beach bar more on the island with the Lighthouse 👍

Great way to see the Ria Formosa natural Park. Interesting guide and lots of great sightseeing. They have a very comfortable boat that can fit the whole family!

Myself and my girlfriend bought the tickets at the stand at the port, the women we bought them off was extremely friendly and helpful, she also gave us suggestions of things to see in faro. Super balade sur les 5 iles principales de la Ria Formosa. Deserta, Farol, Culatra, Armona et Barreta. On à pu voir la faune et la flore, les oiseaux et crustacés. On s'est baigné à la pointe de l'ile de Culatra endroit de bout du monde. Ricardo, notre skipper, personnage gentil et pittoresque, nous à guidées et racontée les histoires de ce lieu magnifique en 3 langues Français, Anglais et Italien. On à fait la balade de 15h30 avec coucher de soleil à 20h. Simplement...Majestueux ❤

We had a 2.5 hours boat tour in Ria Formosa in the afternoon. We have visited two islands (the desert island and the lighthouse island). Our tour guider is very experienced, he showed us a lot of birds on the way. Upon return we had most colourful sunset in front of our boat, with flying birds over lagoon, it is so beautiful! Definitely recommend to do this tour if you visit Faro

El recorrido es maravilloso, el paisaje, la Ría; y sin duda Ricardo hace que paseo sea maravilloso, excelente guía!!

Ricardo nous a installés dans son très beau bateau, a distance les uns des autres et port du masque obligatoire. Il parle bien le français, anglais, .... nous avons peu traverser le site naturel et découvrir beaucoup d'espèces différentes d'oiseaux dont les fameuses "spatules". Il est très sympathique et nous a fait débarquer un petit moment sur "île deserte" où nous avons pu observer la flore et a nouveau des espèces ornithologique. Ce guide est très à l'écoute, explique très bien et son bateau est propre et confortable. Très belle sortie en mer !

We spent a wonderful time with my wife visiting these islands (Ilha Farol and Deserta). Ricardo was an excellent guide!

Fluent in French/ English/ Portuguese and German I guess and they know a lot about the region and it’s fascinating. We laughed a lot and discovered wonderful landscapes. To do without any hesitation!!! You won’t find a better company in Faro.

Pasamos un día estupendo acompañados de Ricardo. Nos llevó a visitar sitios espectaculares como la isla desierta, las salinas, la comunidad del farol... fue muy amable y nos ilustró con información muy interesante de la zona. También muy cuidadoso con todas las reglas por covid. Nos sentimos muy seguros! Sandra muy amable también para la reserva y controlando nuestro coche! Da gusto con esta compañía! Ojala podamos repetir.

We booked the boat tour to Ria Formosa with two stays on two islands. It was a really nice tour and the guide war really friendly and professional. He explain the details and informations about the natural park on three languages!! I would really recommend the tour.

Es war eine gute Entscheidung um 15.00 Uhr zu fahren. Dadurch hatten wir ein wunderbares Abendlicht in den Salzseen und die Flamingos wirkten dadurch noch anmutiger. Unser Skipper Ricardo hat uns kompetent und freundlich mit Infos versorgt und hatte einen guten Rundumblick. Auch die Buchung über Sandra lief unkompliziert und wir wir wurden bestens mit Vorinfos versorgt. Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis, vielen Dank!!!! Birgit und Uwe

The boat was very comfortable and covid spacing was no problem at all. Lots of covid measure The skipper knew really a lot about the nature . Tide was very high unfortunately but the skipper showed us other things that could only be assessed from high tide.

Très bon accueil. Bateau confortable et guide très sympa. Il nous a bien expliqué la faune et à pris le temps de s'arrêter pour nous montrer les oiseaux comme les flamands roses , les Stern, les hérons cendrés entre autre. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience.
